Hello there! I am Leticia Calonge the face behind BlooHaus. I was born and raised in Southern Brazil and have been living in the US for the past 20 years- San Francisco Peninsula is where we call home. I have three wonderful kids and I am married to Carlos- a tax nerd that is an amazing video game player. I am an avid runner and recently debuted in triathlon by finishing the Santa Cruz 70.3 Ironman. I earned my Masters degree in Architecture from Miami University in 2010.

Fun fact:

In the past 12 years I moved 7 times! Cincinnati (OH), San Francisco (CA), Rogers (AR), São Paulo (Brazil), Bentonville (AR), San Francisco Peninsula and that again! A lot of our furniture came along in that journey. My carefully curated purchases allowed me to use the majority of my pieces in all those different homes. That has mesmerized so many of my friends and family whom have been supporting and encouraging me to share my abilities with others!

Why the name “Bloohaus”?

We had a big dream. We wanted to stop renting and own a home in the Bay Area.

If you ever lived in the Bay Area or heard stories about someone from Northern California, you know how intimidating real estate is in the area. High price tags accompanied by competitive bidding wars haunt many home buyers- including ourselves!

After dreaming and touring many places in the city and on the peninsula [and some years in between] we found a property that had great bones and all the potential to be the place we would raise our family and build memories at.

It all came together and our dream came true.

After some work and love on the property… it turned out to be a beautiful Blue House! I named my business BlooHaus as a reminder that dreams do come true. Dream Big!
